Viajera Vlog: Kalinga

Can you imagine yourself with no cellphone, no internet, and no phone signal for two days? This is what exactly happened to me on my recent backpacking in the northern part of the Philippines.

One of the provinces I visited was Kalinga where the great tattoo artist Apo Whang-od lives. She's the oldest female artist who does "pambabatok," a traditional way of tattooing.

The road to her village in Buscalan, Tinglayan wasn't that easy, but it was definitely all worth it.
