Bali is a place for peace and quiet. Staying in a villa for accommodation is part of it. Lavishing ones are a hit, but most of them are so expensive. Here is a cheap recommended villa where I stayed during my birthday getaway.
It took me time to find an accommodation for this specific travel. For one, I had to consider not only my convenience but my companions too. I went to Bali with my mom and brother. I wanted something can house three people yet affordable and has a traditional look. I had to dig deep into the internet and I was glad to find Puri Dewa Bharata Hotel and Villas in Seminyak Indonesia.
Staying in Seminyak was convenient because it is in the middle of Bali. It took us 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport to reach the place.
I booked a Family Villa that I got for around 3,000PHP / night only. We stayed for 4 nights during the last week of November 2015. It has two bedrooms with own bathrooms, a kitchen, and a lounge. The villa has a gate and the rooms have their own doors with locks.
The first bedroom has queen size bed. The bathroom even has a bath tub. It’s located at the first floor of the villa.
The second bedroom has two single beds. The bathroom is spacious. It’s at the second floor.
My favorite part of the villa is the lounge. I usually stayed here after a long and hot day tour in Bali. Just don’t forget to bring insect repellant though. Since the lounge is placed in open air and there’s a small pond with stagnant water beside, there were mosquitos flying around especially at night.
We stayed at Villa 100-101. Luckily, it’s located one hop away from the swimming pool and the restaurant. However, this is quite far from the lobby and entrance.
I booked this accommodation with breakfast. We were expecting buffet breakfast as said in the booking, but since there were only a few guests during our entire stay, we were served with a breakfast set instead. Although there was a limited number of meal options, food tasted was fine in general. Along with the main course, they always served it with fruits and juice.
Aside from breakfast, we got a complimentary dinner for one night.

The entire look of Puri Dewa Bharata is Balinese style. It does not look like the typical hotel. Also, it was so relaxing to go around especially that it's surrounded by a lot of trees and plants.
The hotel and villa's service was great. Although it took time whenever we had room service, we kind of understood the delay because the entire area is huge. All staff members were always polite and smiling. They can speak and understand English well.
