When in South Korea: Dongdaemun Design Plaza

Seoul is a spectacle at night. When in town, be sure to check out Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) that shines the brightest with a fantastic display of LED lights. The creative minds behind it makes a bright future ahead.

Before you think that DDP is a space station (It looks one though!), it's actually an exhibition and multi-purpose convention hall. Innovative trades including the newest car models, mobile phones, and other upcoming products to be introduced to the market are usually displayed here for exhibition.

Walking through the buildings somehow gives you the feeling of being in a Star Trek series!

A one-of-a-kind park is located at the underground of the DDP building. It is one of the must-visits in Seoul at night. It features the flower garden powered by hundreds of LED lights. These flowers look amazing in uniform white. Go to a higher and farther area to get the best view!

How to get there:
DDP is located in Dongdaemun district, Seoul. It can be easily accessed by train with its own subway station, the Dongdaemun History & Culture Park station, served by lines 2, 4, and 5.
