When in Cambodia: Pre Rup Temple

Among the many temples that we visited in Siem Reap, Cambodia, Pre Rup Temple is one of my favorites. Its reddish color composed of laterite, brick, and sandstone have gotten me right at first glance.
This temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. It's not as big as Bayon Temple or Angkor Wat so a good 30-minute visit is enough to check this temple out.

The view from the top was so relaxing. It may take a few big steps to go up but it will definitely be worth it.

From Pub Street, it took us 20-30 minutes to get to Pre Rup. We went here by car as part of the package tour arranged by our guesthouse, but a tuktuk can also bring you here. Make sure you have an Angkor pass when you go to Pre Rup.
It's recommended to visit this temple either at sunrise or sunset. The color of the temple is more vibrant during these times.
